Secundum processum productionis, monoammonium phosphate in monoammonium phosphatum et monoammonium phosphatum umidum dividi potest; Distingui potest in monoammonium phosphate pro stercoratore composito, monoammonium phosphate pro igne agente extinguente, monoammonium phosphate pro igne praecavendo, monoammonium phosphate ad usum medicinalem etc; Secundum contentum componentium (a NH4H2PO4 computatum), dividi potest in 98% (Gradus 98) monoammonium phosphas industrialis et 99% (Gradus 99) monoammonium phosphas industrialis.
Est album pulverulentum vel granularem (granulares habent vim altam particulam compressivam), facile solubilem in aqua, in alcohole leviter solubilem et in acetone solubilem, solutio aquea neutra, stabilis in cella temperie nulla redox, non ardebit et explodet in Casus caliditatis, substantiae acido-basi et redox, bonam solubilitatem in aqua et acido habet, et scobis res aliquas humoris absorptionem habent, Eodem tempore bonam solidam habet stabilitatem, et in viscosa cathena composita ut dehydranda erit.
